Caractères / symptômes
|
Lordose congénitale des jeunes chevaux saddlebred américains (Cook D 2014; Cook et al 2010; Gallagher PC et al 2003; Rooney JR 1969; Rooney JR et al 1967); hypoplasie des articulations vertébrales (surtout T5-T10). La cambrure de la colonne vertébrale est prononcée. Le phénotype a été aussi décrit chez le haflinger (Coates JW et al 1993). Les chevaux avec une lordose prononcée ne sont pas aptes à être montés ou attelés. Images: Cook et al 2010 |
| Contraintes | Restrictions d’une fonction organique (système locomoteur) qui affectent fortement l’état général et la qualité de la vie; troubles de la locomotion, douleurs, euthanasie.
