Le syndrome d’immunodéficience du poulain est un déficit immunitaire primaire (trouble congénital du système immunitaire). Le symptôme cardinal est une susceptibilité accrue aux infections (bactéries, virus, parasites, champignons, etc.). Le poulain normal à la naissance. 2-6ème semaine de vie: anémie, lymphopénie, léthargie et perte du réflexe de succion progressives ; déficience immunitaire (diarrhée, écoulement nasale, toux, etc.). Issue fatale vers le 3ème mois. Mortalité de 100% |
